Composition and Music

I became a musician through a combination of classical training and self taught learning. I grew up sight-singing in musical theatre productions and family Christmas carolling while also receiving classical piano lessons. I've been a songwriter since my early teen years when I first discovered songwriting as an emotional outlet.

Music has always held a lot of meaning and emotion in my life, I find I best process my emotions through music. I have always felt that music cuts to the soul in a distinctly romantic way and from my theatre roots I've always known music as a storytelling device.

As a composer, I've worked on 9 short film projects including documentaries, narrative films and even a music video. I've selected a number of notable pieces of my works to be featured on this page.
